About the Collection

Architecture of Emotional Restraint Wrapped in Softness

Architecture of Emotions explores the quiet strength behind composure. Using burlap as a metaphor for tension, resistance, and emotional structure, these works are layered with softness, movement, and grace — reflecting the emotions we carry beneath the surface. Inspired by my experience as the only daughter, this collection is rooted in the idea that softness can also hold strength.

The Concept Behind Architecture of Emotions.

This collection is about the quiet strength of a woman who carries a lot, yet still gathers herself with grace before the world sees her. The burlap becomes a metaphor for resistance, tension, and the inner structure of what we hold. Around it, layers of softness, movement, femininity, and colour speak to the outer composure we learn to wear.

For me, this work also connects to being the only daughter — not as a wound, but as something that shaped my sensitivity, awareness, and the way I carry emotion. I learned that softness can have structure. That restraint can still be powerful. That grace is not passive.

These works live in the quiet rituals of holding yourself together.
